Tonner Twilight James Doll - The Nasty Vampire From New Moon

Both kids and kids at heart who are die hard Twilight fans definitely should not miss out on the Tonner Twilight James doll.  Whether as part of a collection of Twilight dolls or just for play, things would not be complete without the main antagonist of the popular book and even more popular film Twilight  New Moon (although, give the collectible nature of this doll, you probably want to stick with the NECA action figures if you want to play).

James and his story

In the film, James was played by Cam Joslin Gigandet.   Although in the book described as having light brown hair and is average looking, he makes this bad boy look much better than that.  This vampire is known as the “Tracker” of his group as he likes to hunt for sport- both animals and humans.  True that he is merciless, unlike the good guys, the Cullens, he enjoys drinking fresh human blood.

As mentioned earlier, James, the main antagonist, was the very vampire who was able to sniff out the sent of the Bella Swan, the heroine.  Upon this, like helpless prey, he hunted her down as his meal.  “You brought a snack”.  With two other evil vampires on his side, Laurent and Victoria, they were able to formulate a plan using Bella’s mother as bait. 

Once Bella came running, she quickly realized that it was all a hoax and that she willingly risked her own life for nothing.  Just when she thought there was no way out, she was saved by the Cullen brothers, Emmet and Jasper- two other vampires, but good ones, thus, ending the life of this character in the book and the popular film adaptation of it.

What Can You Expect From The Tonner Twilight James Doll

Being true to the character seen in the film, the Tonner James doll is one good looking toy with much attention paid to the making of his face and his light brown hair pulled back in a pony tail.  This predator doll is sporting pair of slightly faded denim jeans and an unzipped black faux leather jacket- perfect to show this toys literally sculpted abs.  Although it may seem like a simple outfit, his costume is highly detailed.  It comes with a resin police badge and aviator wings that go with the top.  As for his jeans, there are different chains and charms connected to it. 

He even comes complete with accessories.  He is sporting a faux leather bracelet that matches his jacket as well as a faux leather cuff that comes complete with a tiny buckle.  He also has two intricately designed beaded bracelets and a chain necklace.  That is a lot of work put into one toy.  The toy alone is already tiny, so just imagine how small his accessories are and how much time and effort was put into making all of it.  It is no wonder He is a limited edition toy.  Only 1000 pieces made.

The doll is sure to do the display stand that comes with the whole package justice. And despite saying that this could be viewed as a toy, it is really a collectible item that you would be best advised to keep in pristine condition as it will go up in value over time. It seesm that when they say limited edition over at Tonner dolls they mean it.
